Dedicated to fill this void in the retail fashion industry, Cristina launched Mi Golondrina in 2013 to achieve her goal of sharing the beauty of Mexico with the modern-day woman. As she worked toward Mi Golondrina’s launch, her extensive travels throughout Mexico allowed her to meet with artisans and understand the cultural significance of the traditional pieces she’d fallen in love with. “I wanted to understand the right way to produce each piece so it can be worn for a lifetime,” the founder and CEO says.
